Reykjadalur warm river bath

This trail, located in the Reykjadalur (“Steam Valley”) about 30 min. drive from Reykjavíkis, is famous for its geothermal hot springs. The hike takes you through a picturesque valley with steaming hot springs, bubbling mud pools, and stunning natural scenery. After the hike, you can allow yourself the perfect reward - dipping in and relax in the warm clear river of the hot springs, making it a perfect day trip from Reykjavík.
